Five Questions to Ask Before Buying a Grow Light
If you buy only by wattage, price or appearance, you risk choosing the wrong light. These five questions show what really matters.

You do not buy a grow light like a normal lamp. Room lighting is about whether a space feels pleasantly bright. Plant lighting is about whether a plant is reliably supplied with usable light.
Before buying a grow light, you should ask five questions. First: What area needs to be illuminated? A single plant needs a different setup than a 60 × 60 cm shelf. Second: Which plants will grow there? Herbs, seedlings and dense crops have different requirements. Third: What is the distance between lamp and plant? Distance changes intensity and distribution. Fourth: Is the light controllable? Dimming and light programs help use energy more precisely. Fifth: Are there real measurements? Metrics such as PPFD and DLI are more meaningful for plants than lumens or visual brightness. FLORIQ was developed for exactly these questions. It is modular, controllable and built around real setups. The goal is not to hang just any light above plants. The goal is to create the right lighting system for the specific area and application. Because when you ask the right questions, you do not buy just another lamp. You choose control.
